Hey
I recently painted my LAV25 in MM Sand on top of Vallejo grey primer, I noticed today that there are small cracking in allot of places.
Now I think I know why it is - I didn't let the primer dry for too long before painting it, It had maybe 3 hours to dry compared to my Abrams that I used the same primer/paint combination I let it dry for a day and there are no painting cracking at all.
Now my question is - how do I 'fix' the cracking, in some areas like the top of the turret its pretty significant..can I just paint over the cracked paint or it will make it worst?

Hi zzez13
In my opinion if the paint cracked it means that the primer didn't adhere well on plastic surfaces, so I thinks that adding another paint coat could get worse the problem. I don't know if it depends on the short time that you waited before painting. It seems to me that probably it depends on a not clean enough model surface
If happened to me I'd strip away all the paint and i'd restart
Anyway, just my 2 cents
Cheers
