Hi all,
I looking at what type of roads and bridges japan had 1946. I building an Staghound and currently close to start the base for it.
Were the roads paver, dirt or bitumen?
What were the bridge built from.
What type and were could I get japanese flora from.

No detail of construction but does say that in 1956, 77% of national highways were not paved.

Hi,
I have watched a documentary on Hiroshima, the bridges and government buildings where made of concrete with iron supports, rural houses where made in a traditional way using wood and paper. Although this is 1945, I am sure that if they were concrete then they where concrete in 1946.
