Hey everyone.
I may not remember correctly, but I seem to recall that someone had made a M1A1 Abrams with a special "Creeping Death" decal set. Does this ring a bell to anyone? It was a little while ago when I saw it online, and I can't find it anymore. I thought for sure I would have bookmarked it, but apparently I didn't. It has been difficult trying to find it again. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Thanks.
Sean

Years ago I did this tank with the Archer decal set. This was before I met Sgt Olson and learned of the many details of the 3rd ID, including equipment, as well as marking, and hence before my Concord book on the 3rd ID. Since then Echelon came out w/ a few sets that are much better than the Archer set(s). I forget if one of the Echelon sets has Creeping Death.

I just checked the Echelon sheets. No Creeping Death. You could get the Archer set and then combine it with one of the Echelon sets to make it more accurate. As far as details go, the newer DML M1A1 kit w/ the extended bustle rack is what you need to do this tank correctly.
I think it was Creeping Death who lost most of their equipment on the first thunder run when their gun tube hit an abutment and spun the turret around.

I've got a new set of Echelon decals for the 3rd ID, set # 35013 that I could send for a few bucks.
