Try to model kits appropriate to a campaign to aid in paint schemes. Looking for a Panther to send to Kursk. Looks like this means either Dragon Panther D "Kursk" (6164) or "Premium" (6299). I know that a newer kit is available but it comes with Zimmerit on it which as I understand it wouldn't suit festivities at Kursk. Read a few reviews and got a few horror stories concerning instructions, but mostly thumbs up. If anyone has built either of these buggies, a capsule view would be appreciated.

Hi Eric
The Dragon Panther D "Premium edition" is in my opinion the best choise. You'll need to get the extended front fenders from some AM product, though.

The Dragon Premium Edition D will work. At least some of the tanks at Kursk had the very early radiator fan covers, with the "complicated" edge design. These are available from several resin makers. Other than that, you should be good to go.
