Hi all i just had this great idea for a dio a while back after watching the movie behind enemy lines for the third time. The idea is to put a soviet bmp aswell as a t55 a t72 and a self propelled sam launcher. All in the thick mud somewhere in hertzegrova. I am currently busy on the construction of the t55 and i have had the thought of what exact paint colour would be used to depict the serb forces tanks out of tamiya or humbrols range available. This would be really helpfull to me if anyone knows the exact colour that could be used?!!!

JusJus, Serb forces used JNA tanks and equipment that was in grey-green color. Look at this tread about the JNA colors: here

I think modern Russian figures would work. The uniforms tended to be monochrome green. There were occasions where special forces or irregulars wore a patchwork of uniforms from around the world. If you want to portray irregulars, then just about any figures would do.

I believe the Serb Special Police forces wear a Purple (ish) and black camo uniform, or something similar...very bizarre.

Take a look here for Serb uniforms: WorldCamo and browse under Republic Srpska (bosnian Serb forces) and Yugoslavia...

I looked, and found what I was talking about...
I had an acquaintance(sp?) who was over there and brought a pair home with them.

Yep, Serbs liked to wear weird looking tiger-striped stuff in Bosnia... This particular issue was called blue urban tiger stripe and I bet it was good camo for night operations.
