Almost any M4A2/Sherman III kit will work well as a Soviet vehicle, though I doubt many of the early Direct Vision types went to the Russians. Dragon and Tasca Shermans are generally better than Academy's. Aftermarket decals for Soviet Shermans are available, though the Soviet penchant for painting without stencils means that you could easily handpaint the markings, or cut them freehand with an X-acto knife from white decal sheet (or large American stars).

Dragon's 6188 has an aluminum barrel and DS tracks. It's a good kit.

Thanks a lot guys

information you got for is so helpful,
especially that link from Mauro

and T48/SU-57 looks so sexy. Wow!
Strong candidate for one of my many planned-in -near-future projects.

And bonus request: is this posible to convert DMLs M3 Gun Motor Carriage to T48? Could be a fun project too.
