Hello, this is my first post in the figures forum, anyway i figured this would be the best place for this question (undoubtedly)

Im currently working on a rather large diorama and wondered if any of you could point me in the direction of a review or share any of your experiences with the following figures set or any set for that matter by the same company. I have never heard of this company and would appreciate any info.

Hi James

Not exactly what you're looking for for,but I believe this set is the 1/35 version of their 1/72 scale set #72504. The poses appear to be very similar.

Preiser is renown for the quality of their 1/87 and 1/72 stuff....

Hi James,

Preiser is one of the oldest existing figure companies here in Germany. I live next to one of their production facilities and know how their mold have been done. They usually sculpt a master figure in approx 1/10 scale then make a negative mold and from this mold they scale down the figures to any desired size. O.K. the figures are not entirely up to a Dragon Gen2 standard, but they are quite good for some mass scenes like French or Russian campain. I only wish they would make some of their modern US or Bundeswehr already in their range in 1/35 scale, too. One good thing about them is their multipose potential, since you have interchangable headgear and arms.

Best Regards
Hans-Hermann

Preiser's small scale figures are superb, but the 1/35th scale items are just adequate. The faces are not very impressive by current standards. If they offer a subject you like or a pose you need, get them, but current Dragon, Tristar, Miniart and Masterbox styrene figures are generally better. Older styrene figures can be drastically improved if you swap one of the resin heads available from makers like Hornet.
