Hello! This is my first attempt at painting and weathering a model kit. Ordinary brushes used, no airbrush, no primer was used also. Painted with Tamiya acrylics and Model master enamels. Dry brush technique used for weathering mostly.
Please comment, and give feedback, so that i can improve my next steps in to modeling.

Ahh, there we go...
Try reading through this tutorial. My guess is that either your photos are too large, or they need a different file extension.
That aside, It looks like you may need to spray your Merkava with a dullcoat. It looks very glossy and I think that combined with the flash of your camera are hiding a lot of the weathering details. Otherwise it looks like a nice OOB build

Thanks for the advice about dull coat! Actually it does not appear shiny in reality, it seems, that flashlight has made this shiny effect. I know, that i need to practice on properly photographing my models as well.
Oh and thanks about photos, helped a lot!

Good build.
Just one little thing I noticed here:
The exhaust is on the right side of the tank:
I believe you have the fire extinguisher handles colored like exhaust:
Just trying to help...

Well, to be fair, the early Merkava Mk.1 DOES have an exhaust on the left (APU maybe, can't recall right now). Your photo shows a Mk.III with the f.e. handle.
This is the Latrun Mk.1 http://svsm.org/gallery/merkava1/P1710062

Dear Shane
As for early Mk. 1, there was an exhaust outlet on the LH side, as in the model.
This was near the fire extinguishing operating access (in red).
This LH opening was in addition to the grille on the RH sponson.
In later Mk. 1, the LH opening was eliminated and opening was covered by a welded plate.
No APU in this location.
regards
Michael

Thanks for the replies!
As for the exhaust, early Merkava really has that on both sides, as you can see in this picture http://en.valka.cz/files/merkava1_106.jpg
Unfortunatley I didn't take any pictures of the other side of model, but exhaust grill has been weathered as well
