Hey Gents, What is the rule with primers? will oil based primers work for Vallejo Model Color AB. Will acrylic primer work with Humbrol etc etc

If you are using Vallejo, why not just use the Vallejo primer? It isexcellent.

Both Mr. Surfacer and Tamiya will work with vallejo.

Its also worth having a look at automotive etch primers as well, they stick live the proverbial to a blanket

I have used mr surfacer for years. I switched to Valllej because lately the fumes have really bothered me.

Since I am always willing to try something new, which etch primers are good with acrylics?
