Jason,

Looking good! I will get my review with images posted ASAP...the Barracuda on the front of the turret hangs down to far and needs to be trimmed up a bit....it is not too late to correct yours.

For others building the kit....the instructions do identify where gaps may be created when adding the various resin parts such as the front and rear of the turret....take your time, inspect, prepare, test fit, test fit again, attached, fill, sand, smile.

Thanks. About how much needs to be trimmed off approximately?

Using the old Mk.1 eyeball and comparing it to reference images I would say about 3-4 mm needs to come off...maybe more.

It is best that you take a look at any available images you have before cutting of sanding. One thing you will have to consider is removing just a smidge of the Barracuda along the bottom and side edges to show the flat seam after you shorten it.

Ok, thanks again. Also, I am trying to decide what would be best for where the kit bottom of the hull and the resin glacis meet. All the pictures I see show the barracuda being a little longer and dangling a little. The resin hull and the kit hull do not line up anyway so I figure I am going to cover it. I just don't know how yet. Maybe Apoxie Scuplt or maybe Some scrap Echelon barracuda.

I will get a picture of that this weekend....probably tomorrow. I have to work this morning and then am going to the Steeler game right after, so I won't be able to do it today
