another try from me ... The kit base is a VERY old motorized M60A1 from Tamiya with a load of bits and pieces added and amended ...

Very nice,Andreas. I served on a plain ol M-60 in 1975 before we got our M-60A2's later.You need to add the interupter bars that are on the M-48's turret roof.These kept the cal .050 from shooting the searchlight when it was mounted or hung like you have done.I like the use of the M-48's searchlight,It is the only way to go.
Is that the M-60A1's travel lock for the gun? It should be.Our M-60's and A1's all had the M-60A1 travel lock.

Looks good to me. I've got one in the on deck circle as well. Going to use the Esci hull and CMD Slick 60 turret.

Thank you guys, Carl yes thois is the M60 travel lock. However I am not too sure about the interupter bars. This should be a very early M60 (check the CWS periscope) and those do not seem to have the front bar fitted ... obviously they were refitted for some reason to later models ...
