I am looking at purchasing a 1/35 Stryker from Trumpeter or AFV Club. Which company do you suggest I go with?

Which version Matt ?
I have some versions from Trumpeter others from AFV.
The AFV version are great but the Trumpeter ones aren't that bad.
The M1130 from AFV has 2 version in the box but the M1132 from Trumpeter too.

Hi Matt,
If you mean the basic Stryker then the AFV Club is the better one. Trumpeters isn't bad but the RWS is poorly done. I ended up using the one from AFV Club to replace it. It also has clear parts for the lights and some other details the Trumpeter one missed.
Hope this helps.

But trumpeter has lots of extras in the box such as ration packs. Personally I think both are equally good if slightly different and delighted that both companies are doing modern armour. In order to support both I tend to use AFV for Strykers and Trumpeter for their other stuff...

I am looking to build the M1126. AFV Club seems the better choice, as I'm not looking to pay $50 for am pe detail. Thanks guys.

Thanks Miloslav. That is where I had planned on ordering it.

AFV Club has the edge on Trumpeter, but the TRP is a very good kit nonetheless. It's usually affordable in the secondary market too...
... why I believe I have one for sale! With extras!
