Guys
i built this with a trumpeter kv chassis and a zvezda turret
i based it on a photo on the russian battlefield site and i refered to m eastern express kv 85
all coments welcome

good job, but RB's barrel is better.

I'm not adverse to it, but in terms of strict accuracy you need the EE KV-1S hull.
Still, I have built both, and I can understand why you might want to build it off the Trumpeter kit. An interesting (maybe not so) what-if vehicle. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed.

thanks for your comments
an rb barrel would have been better but i decided just to use the kit parts
on this one
i had a few chech masters barrels but i used them on other builds
i dont know much about kv hulls and i just picked one out of 3 different types in stock at my local modelshop for this build based on its mantlet as i could use the mantlet for another build it was an early 1941 model i think
I also just wanted to build a trumpeter kit too

i enjoyed the build and had to use spare wheels from an eastern express 152
as the trumpeter ones were the wrong type
im looking forward to getting some paint on to it
