We called them "hesco" in Iraq after the company that made them, I am sure they are called the same everywhere. Here check this out.

Yep, Easy's right we called them Hescos..they came in like 3 sizes.

Just some random info, if properly constructed HESCO Barriers are also used as emergency quick to build flood barriers. I know that we used them in Fargo (and probably again this spring...) and I think other municipalities are looking at them. Would be great for a national guard dio.
