Ok, first of all, unless you're going to visit Indiana soon, or live in Central/Northern Indiana, or states near it, this probably isn't going to help you. For those of you who are still here, if you haven't been to the new WWII Victory Museum up in Auburn, you're missing a lot! It has Patton's Jeep, Eisenhower's staff car, Hitler's Ambulence/Staff Car, and many rare LAVs and AFVs. They have captured British vehicles with German markings. Type in http://www.americanheritagevillage.com/wwii.html to get to it's website. Thanks for your time. Never mind...just click it.

Thanks for sharing. That's a pretty large collection they've got there. Let's see Colorado to Indiana... that's not TOO far. "But Honey, think of the educational experience for the kids."

Here's a link to an article about that museum, together with photos of some of the exhibits (thumbnails may take a while to load).

Have you been there MEMB? I am only an hour away from Auburn. I guess it is worth the trip? Let me know.
Thanks,

I thought you guys would never ask. I went there yesterday with a friend of mine. ( You wouldn't believe the kind of looks a fifteen and sixteen year-old kids will get in a museum like that! #:-) ) It's $8.00 per person, and trust me, it's definitely worth it! It has one tank, though. But besides that, it's worth the 8 bucks! I took 4 rolls of film with me, and used all of them! Not only do they have half-tracks, jeeps, staff cars, etc. but they have an 88 flak gun, anti-tank tanks, SPA, etc.! Like I said, it's worth the 8 bucks! ($25 for a family. Not bad for 4 or 5 people!)
