Can anyone tell me what colour to paint the star' aerial on a Panzer II luchs?

Tom,
German aerials appear to have been painted the factory color of the vehicle. If the vehicle survived long enough, photo evidence suggests that the paint easily wore off leaving the aerial a dark brownish black metalic color.
