I was wondering if the BR52 locomotive was ever used with the new Panzertragerwagen from trumpeter? Or was it only used with those armored locomotives?

the panzertragerwagen with 38 T is to fight against partisans as a defensive

the loco can be any locomotive the kind of loco deppends of the tons are transporting, the distance and the terrain ( elevations consumes more water and coal ) to do more work its necessary a higher locomotive as the br 52

any loco can be used just depending of that points
the armoured loco is another defense agains partisans because the boiler is the hart of the rail transportation if you loose the loco you loose the train

i hope helps

Hi there,

to my knowledge, the Panzerträgerwagen was only used in the Panzerzug BP 42 or BP 44. It would make little sense using a heavy engine like the BR 52 to push or pull just one or two Panzerträgerwagen. So we have to wait `til Trumpeter releases all the components of the BP 42.

Just to back that up,the kit only comes with one conventional coupling - the other end has the magnetic coupling for the turreted flat car.
