I have an AFV Club Stryker TACP that I doubt I'll ever get around to building, but I'm interested in the Canadian LAV-III conversions that Real Model has....can I just use the lower hull/running gear from the Stryker with the conversion without worrying about the upper hull/etc?

Yep, that's how the conversions are designed to work. Replace the upper hull with the resin one from RM using odds and soods from the AFV Club kit.

cheers

Do you know which parts(odds and ends)? I had to raid a couple minor parts from that kit to finish my Stryker AT LOL

Scott,

take a look at this blog:

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/154558

Basically all the dark green parts you will need from your AFV Club Stryker kit. I just got my LORIT, its a superb looking conversion. I am a little daunted by the PE though...there's 6 sheets of etch!

edit - its looks from the Blog that Milo used AFV Club wheels; my LORIT came with resin wheels.
