Has anyone Built AA's Chieftain AVLB with bridge conversion, if so, did you have any dramas matching the two sides of the bridge up. When I line up the four sections the mounting points are off or on the complete wrong side of the bridge. Please help.

I think the issue is one of casting rather than poor master building. Resin models are cast in rubber moulds. Each time the mould is used it shrinks. Some times the soft rubber tears and another mould has to be made. I think this is the issue here. I suggest AA are contacted. Their customer service is usually very good.
This problem is typical of resin models but it should not put you off, it is some thing I have got use to.
Good luck
Luke

Cheers all. E-mail sent, however I have made many AA models and the moulds have never been this far out, I'm talking 12-15mm. Its as if they sent the wrong parts.

I built that beastie many years ago and experienced almost the same problem. The joining supports had to be slightly repositioned and the loops that make up the hinges adjusted somewhat. Take it very slowly and it can be overcome.
Even today I can unfold my bridge.
The main problem with making these adjustments is that it will leave a very small gap at the end when folded.
It could have been made easier if a template for the length of rods needed were provided as well.....
A very interesting and challenging build.
