I suppose is a green paint, but in your pic it looks graysh.
Depends it on the photo light or is truly a gray tone?
I'm asking you because i'm building a JNA t55 following a pic. In this pic the tank looks gray, despite the former yugoslav tanks was painted in green.
I wondered if a russian gray paint was applied on it and i'm still looking for a right enamel reference
Anyway, great work indeed. As russian tank fan, i've already seen your site
cheers

Thank you Mauro!
The true colour is on the first and last photos. And if you want to have some kind of grey on your model use Tamya pigments A.

Stunning Build one of the best BMP-3's I have ever seen.
My one complaint is that you did not complete a build log so that we could all find out how you did it

One of the serious problems in planning against Canadian doctrine is that the Canadians do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligations to follow their doctrine.

impressive work, could you tell us, what is specific you have changed, I am not an expert and by looking at the pics i have no idea what you changed, it would be easier if you explained the "modifications "you made.

OK. I did a little number crunching and am going to order Trumpeter's BMP-3 early version along with turned barrels and a full pe set from Voyager. Also picking up some ICM modern Russian figures for the crew compartment. Hope I can pull off something as close to realistic as yours.

I have these Tank figures. They are very good!
Igor brilliant work, very nicely presented and very natural weathering. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Also how do you find Zvezda paints? I only ask because I have never used them, and I am often in Minsk. In Belarus its easy to buy Zvezda paint. How do they airbrush, and how do they compare to AKAN?
