At present I am doing the Dora in 1/35 and do have the 1/72 scale too. also Dragons flat with tank, and the low side gon too.

Working on the armored car/railcar. mostly done but needs paint.

As for others, waighting for the dragon's leopold rail gun.

And have the BR 52, hopeing to kit bash the condencor tender for it.

tutorca I look forward to seeing some of your builds and a blog on the 1/35th Dora should attract attention.

@tutorca,
Is it the 1/35th Dora? I worked on mine for 2 hours a night, and 8 hours / weekednd, from Early June to Sept 2006.
I will be starting the HobbyBoss 1/72nd Dora this week. I have just painted the base, and will be installing the rails tonight.

Very nice , Mark . You might want to get the Markin 1 Gauge working couplers to use on your Dragon cars . Dragon only gives you one shackle and two hooks . The Marklin hooks are too big ( and the plastic is a pain to try and sand thinner )and the sill on the D car very narrow , but by removing the hollow pin on the shackle you can add them to the D hook . They look great and can be tightned just like the prototype Also size wise they match the Dragon shackles .. Price wise , they ain't cheap , so I only got a 10 pack ,(4 more cars to build ) Jim

One where did you get the couplers and two, would you be intrested in a 25 anaversery train meet for the Victoria to sidney club?

25th Ann . sounds like a good idea . Should be a few of us still around , ie not in jail , old folks home or dead . Then again , maybe not too many of us

Holy cow... Dora. What is the maker of that kit? Dragon or Trumpeter?

Ive been tossing around a dio idea in my head for a few days and ordered a couple of flatbed cars and a Marder to go with it and then I found the Trumpeter Morser Karl-Gerat 040-041

Which I think is going to be one of my next projects, but the Dora would look spectacular over my workbench. I hate to even ask about the cost....
