Hi guys. Just finished taking some pics of my latest build and thought I would share them with you.
Kits Used: Tamiya JSU 152 – Tamiya Crew member – Dragon Russian Tank Riders - Hornet heads.
Modifications/additions: After market metal barrel - Fruilmodel tracks.
Paint and Finish: Paints used were Devil Over the Atlantic acrylics for base. Vallejo acrylics and Humbrol enamels were used for the majority of on-board equipment. Weathering was done with MIG washes, oil paints and pigment powders. Dragon figures were painted with Vallejo acrylics and oil paints. Base is from Reality in Scale.
I hope you enjoy the pics.

Looks great to me!
Why is one of the infantry wearing a helmet that resembles a French Adrian helmet?

Hi Steven,
The Russians had an early helmet model “M-36”, with a ventilation comb on top. They usually had a red star painted on the front.

Thanks. Although the M36 and M52 are the most commonly seen helmets the Soviets also adopted and adapted the Adrian helmet as did Belgium, Brazil, China, Greece, Italy (including license-built versions), Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Siam, U.S.A., and Yugoslavia.

Hi, Tyrel. All them nice and match. I love your weathering style, impressive.
BTW, you may already mention for the figures scale but I couldn't find, would you please suggest, 1/35 scale right?
Cheers !!!

Hi Tyrel good work. I was going to ask how you made the trees Great photography.
One thing you have to watch out for when swapping heads is to avoid the neck looking too long. Its better to drill out the neck of the figure and if you have drilled too deep then fill in a bit with some scrap plastic until the head sits right, I feel on some of your figures that the necks are a bit too long.
Interesting idea to use the Adrian type helmet but I'm almost certain they were replaced in 1936 and while some of the SSh-36 Steel Helmet might have lingered on it would be very odd to see the Adrian type by the time the JSU 152 came on the scene in 1943.
