Hey guys looking for some feedback on the tamyia Jeep. I have built a couple of them and khow the amount of work it takes to detail it but, do any of you think the underside is detailed enough to use in a overturned wrecked Jeep? Where would I look for good pictures to detail the bottom?

hi
which details are you looking for?
I am owning an US willys jeep and a M201 french jeep (willys after ww2 with a french licence) at the 1:1 scale
I have many pics into my data base when I restored them; just ask what you need.
If I haven't the picture, I will take them.
cheers Alex

what about the under side of the front fenders, I'm sure on the real jeep that they are just press steel. On the Tamyia jeep these are soild. I will have to try and make these look more like they from press steel. I am thinking about gluing a very small strip around the edge or maybe using some thick foil and make my own fenders using the kit part as a templent,

Hi;
that it is correct, the fenders are built with 4 parts pressed.
The parts are spot welded.
At the moment I have no pics available.
I will do them on saturday.
If you want other pics just let me know, I will do them.
If others guy are interested into jeep details, no problem, just ask too.
cheers Alex
