I've read that the upgunned Panzer IV D was issued to training and replacement units, and that it was actually used in Italy.

Can anyone provide information on where else it was used?
Any idea where in Italy it was used, what units, etc.?
and, of course, any photos?

old post i know but

from accounts there was 3 of these D's used in italy by 26.Pz Div in 43

only have the 1 pic atm if you would like it let me know
