Dear members.
First ill start to introduce myself. Cause im new here
Im Boris, an 19 year old student from the netherlands.
Im building models now for 3 years or so. And am a member of a dutch website which is like this.
(ill post some links later)
Now to my question. Im participating in a korea campaign and am thinking of serveral vehicles to build, like a MASH h13 chooper and a centurion mkIII tank.
The only kit i have seen for this is the tamiya 1/25 kit. I bet there are some aftermarket combinAtions to turn a mkIV from afr club into a mkIII.
What do i need? Or will it be that expensive that i should go for the tamiya 1/25 one?
Thanks!
Boris

Welcome Boris! We are definitely glad you've visited the Warwheels forum.
However, your best bet to get answers about the Centurion would be by going to the "Armor/AFV" Forum in Armorama.
The WarWheels forum is the home of "wheeled vehicles" and won't be too much help for you on the Centurion as it has tracks of course.

Sorry, don't know an answer to your question right now, but we also have a Korean War campaign here on Kitmaker Network. You might want to join there and even if you don't, if you post your question there I'm sure someone will know an answer as everyone is currently dealing with the subject.
The campaign is here: http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcontent&id=421
And the thread is here.
Cheers!
Stefan

Tamiya do a Centurion III in 1/35 as well as 1/25, although it's out of production. There are always a few on eBay. Compared with the AFV Club kit (the Mark 5) it's quite primitive, but it's a lot cheaper than buying that and the resin bits needed to back-date it.
