I am trying to get my ducks in a row to jump into the British Armour Campaign, with my subject being the Trumpeter Enhanced Armor Chally 2. I see that Accurate Armour, Eduard, and Voyager all now offer PE and Slat sets for this beast; I'm leaning towards the Voyager set, but before purchasing was wondering if anyone had any input over which is truly the best set to get.

Trumpeter has this with Enhanced Slat Armour....

in plastic, which may save your sanity....

I got it in the stash, & well impressed with it, especially the price, about a 1/4 of AA's or Voyagers' stuff.

Yes the plastic kit slat is what I'm interested in replacing. Don't worry, my sanity went away for good soldering the Canadian Leo slat LOL. The Chally slat in comparison looks relatively straightforward.

Sanity?
who needs it?

My very limited experience with PE would lean towards Voyager in preference to say Aber.

Can't help with Slat sets choices, but didn't someone (aber?) do a PC Slat-folding template/jig thingy for those LAV's?

Good luck, I'll follow your work if you decide to blog...
