OK..i know this is most likely not the best place to ask for Aviation type figures..but..i'm trying to find either 1/35 or 1/32 resin modern helo pilots and some aircrew..any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ask and you shall receive.

1/35 Helo Pilots and Crew

Also, check out the Rotary Wing Forum over at Aeroscale, Armorama's sister site dedicated to aircraft.

Sounds like an interesting project. What are you using for the CH-46 Sea Knight? The largest one I know of is in 1/48th scale.

thats my problem, i dont believe there are any 1/35 CH-46's available...i was thnking about just using the pilots and fogging up the window slightly to try to offset the size. but i think that'll be too much of a size difference..actually iknow it will.. dang it..

So do the dio in 48th scale , should be lots of figures , both plastic & resin of the air crews you need. Will also make the flight deck base smaller in area , might be easier to find a glass or plastic case / cover for it .
I tried the " using other scale figures " idea a few times ... your right , it don't work .

Yup, I would do it in 1/48th as well.

I thought I would add some kit info in 1/48th. Academy does a few different 1/48th versions. For a modern(ish) CH-46 that would have been on the USS Kearsarge, I would go with the CH-46D (#12207) or CH-46E (#2226). Hope that helps some.
