Hi All,
Think I've thinned some Tamiya German Grey too much (It's my colour of choice for AFV wheel rubber). It's more like very thin ink now.
Apart from adding more paint (which I don't have). Does anyone know of any way to thicken it up again
TIA and TTFN
Tom

Hi tom
Unfortunately, adding more paint it's the only way in my opinion.
If you don't have the paint you can try to add a paint with a similar color shade, but of course, that'll change your final color. Considering your color is german gray, you could add black, dark blue or neutral gray....but really I don't know if it'll work
cheers

If you're just brushing it, I've had luck adding pigments to paints to cover better. Especially with Tamiya acrylics. I haven't tried brush painting though, but they work very well brushed, and they also avoiding skinning anywhere near as badly as Tamiya straight from the bottle.

Not to worry.
I suppose it's time for a little re-supply run, I'm running low on some other things as well.
