Aloha everyone!
I'm currently in the process of working on Trumpeter's LAV-25A2 and while looking ahead I was wondering if anyone knew just who made the recently released conversion set that included the blast protection shield for the commanders cupola and gunners station? ITS DRIVING ME NUTS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO DID IT!!!!
Thank you in advance!!!
Kurt

Thank you everyone!! Oh-if I may be so bold-I have one last question. It appears of all the pictures I've seen of the A2 variant of the LAV that they use the short exhaust mechanism like that of the Black Dog conversion kit. Is this a per vehicle change or did all that A2 variants go to this as a standard instead of the Trumpeter kit supplied exhaust?

Hi Kurt
Just take a look at this "heated" (but still informative) thread about mufflers :

The "newish" muffler is also incuded in Blast Models set...

Hello Kurt,
I have the Blast Models set and it is worth the money! The VC and gunner's blast shield is attached to a large block, but nothing too hard to remove. You can use the muffler provide by Blast or use the shroud in the Trumpeter kit, either would be accurate.
