Hi all,

Having no model stores in my region, no forests, and not being able to order any goods online. I was wondering how to scratch build convincing flowers, and how to make ivies using man made products.

Can anyone help?
Thanks,
pdelsoglio

Hi there!
How about using some little pieces of painted and coloured tissue paper, attached to very thin wire? In 1/35, I think that, with a little patience, could do the trick for you.

Cheers,
Pablo

Hey Vladimir, your up the peverbiale creek with out a paddle, but, there are some ways. If I read your post right you want to make ivy, like the stuff that grows on buildings. One way would be to take a nylon scub pad or furnace filter. Pull apart to what you need and spry dark brown, Streach and glue into place. If you have acces to silfor seeds you can use them for the leaves, or, spices like oregino and such. If you have access to the book Terrain modeling by Richard Wilson, it will give you quite a few different ways to accomplish ground cover
