Hi,
This looks great. I love the wall & ironwork. Is the wall Verlinden? What about the ironwork?
And are there anymore pictures? I'd love to see some more of this!
Looks great - the bit I can see!
Joe.

Hi Tom,
Sorry. Now I can see a whole load more. What figures have you used?
Joe.

Tom, this is looking good. You have a great layout and concept well displayed with action. If I may add a few comments to consider I would say on your next dio add a bit more rubble to blend in the structures and figures, i.e., rubble at the joints to make an even flow and so on. Your figure painting is pretty good too, so I would concenrate on blending it all togther. I looked over your model gallery, you are well accomplished so keep er rollin and thx for sharing. Geat work Tom, Bravo!

Cheers, Ski.

Thanks for the kind comments

Joe The ironworks a PE and the figures are from Hobby Fan They're resin and have great detail
Phil thanks for the comment
Steven I'm working on that problem I agree that it needs more rubble and dust to tie it all together

Thanks again
Tom

Tom, great work! I have a similar diorama in progress with Verlinden wall and ironwork (as to answer Joe). The figures seem mostly from Dragon- Khe San Marines set I think. Thanks for posting.
*Oops, never mind. I just saw Tom's comment.

Tom

I like the concept and the figures are well painted, particularly the wall with the wrought iron fence

Your dio looks really nice. Great layout and setting. One thing got my attention though and I dunno maybe I'm wrong , but was not the Tet Ofensive in the cities mostly street fighting fought with mainly small arms. Not likely to see a building literally blown to pieces. Just wondering...........

Tanks and ontos were called in to support the troops along with gunships, so the damage according to the books is correct. Nice dioThomas, have one on the back burner with the mule and recoiless rifle.

Alfred Thanks for the kind remarks
Bob Thanks for noting that a lot of the buildings in Hue were destroyed because the NVA were hiding in them

Thanks

For a good set of pictures (some B/W, some color) about Hue

Marines in Hue City: A Portrait of Urban Combat, Tet 1968

One of these days I find the time for a review...

I think this is awesome. One suggestion would be to add a guy firing near the gate where the wounded guy is being dragged to provide them cover fire. Nice!
