25+ years ago, I built a dio involving Tamiya's Krupp Protze and 20mm flak gun beng captured by a group of GI's on D-Day Plus 1 (or so); I no longer have the dio and have decided I would like to duplicate the concept at least, only with better figures and better modelling skills. Here's the problem though, since I am going to have to buy the figures (already figured out which ones), and resin figures cost $$$, I thought I would use a vehicle in my stash and the only one that have that can use is the ESCI sdkfz 10/4; so my queston is would Allied troops have encountered this vehicle in the summer of '44 in France?
As a back-up, I have the Bronco flak vierling, but was planning on building that as a stand-alone.

Hi Matthew,
The sd.kfz 10 and its variants saw action almost everywhere the Germans went. But I believe the sdkfz 10/4 did see extensive use on the Russian steppes, they served mainly on the eastern front. I think you should stick with the 2CM FLAKVIERLING
I hope this was helpful,
Regards,
