Just an idea, since I've been watching manufacturers (especially MiniArt) starting to come out with some decent Britsh/Commonwealth injection kits at last.
Most of what we're seeing are either standard battledress or desert/Italy hot weather. I think a couple of sets of figures in battledress and cold weather gear (greatcoats, jerkins, cap comforters etc) could cover a LOT of ground.

- Northwest Europe winter 44/45 Brits or Canadian
- Replace No4 with No 1 SMLE, NZ troops Italy 44/45
- Brits in Italy 43/44/45
- Korea, Brit Aussie or Kiwi

Any thoughts?

cheers

You're absolutely correct. With that in mind, i've sent Masterbox a lot of images diagrams etc. on the british greatcoat. The No 1 SMLE is ALSO one of my personal 'manias' and, once again, you're absolutely on the button.

Ironically the opposite seems to be true in tank crew. Most of the releases we seem to get are in Pixie Suits

I like the miniart armoured car crew, I've mixed and matched and used them a lot for North Africa tank crew and Sicily/ Italy, and they did do that nice tank crew in denims and jerkins, but I'd like to see a few more sets in regular issue tank denims for Normandy and fair weather Italian campaign

What about more figures in camouflaged windproof smocks, by the end of 44 start of 45 they were issued to a lot of ordinary line infantry. The perception is that only the germans were widely issued with camouflage but late in the war there seemd to be a lot of use of cam smock and para smocks [certainly at least by officers] in british line units.

Also snow suits would useful [lots of use around the ardennes offensive], chest pouch kits and leather jerkins

If they did a set of British Soldiers similar to their German Captives, with a mixed order of dress DB and some with Greatcoates open, a wounded chap or two then you have a very useable set. The can be prisoners, lazing around or wounded soldiers, Greatcoats and BD Blouse open. I've been harping on about this since I saw the German Set lol, lol.

A follow up could be some chaps sitting/lying around having a kip.

Still hoping.
