Hi all
Just a quick one Does anybody know what colour the interior of the FV430 Bulldog is?
The only pics ive found online so far are of 432,s showing it as some kind of a green or duck egg colour. Is this the same for Bulldog?
Any help would be apreciated.
Nick.

Looking at some references, they seem to suggest the interior is now painted white with khaki colored cladding.

If you are talking about a light green colour, it is called Eau De Nil. The british standard is BS 381C colour 216. It is the green colour that has been used for decades in British AFV's. The 'silver' colour is actually aluminium paint and should have really only been used on surfaces that were prone to heavy traffic or corrosion, but was often used throughout (and I mean on ALL surfaces).
From what I have gleened off of various sources the FV430 Bulldog is in reality,( and for some strange reason, re-numbered with its original series number,) a FV432 mark 3 with added armour, upgraded powerpack and aircon. The interior paintwork is a mix of white, aluminium and black. The upholstery is the good old dark green vinyl for the seating and a sand/beige dimpled vinyl on all the bump pads, I have also seen all green surfaces as well. The white painted surfaces seem to be on the aircon parts. The black looks like its on some access panels and aluminium over everything else.
Unfortuantly I can't seem to find on the web the walkaround pics that were released when the bulldog showed up in Iraq because they showed the paintjob really well.

Every reference pic ive seen of a FV432 Mk3 with ASPRO-HMT armor (which is the kit I assume you are talking about) has the interior painted white. It was previously the Aluminium color on older MK2's but seems to have since been painted white. Note that the cladding is still the khaki color as always. A back issue of Model Military has 2 pics which seem to confirm this.
