While reading through Tankograd's book about IDF armoured vehicles I had an idea about a Canadian/American HIAV based on the Bradley chassis and hull. The reason why I chose the Bradley is because I had read somewhere that the U.S. has a large quantity of Bradleys' in storage as those crews have been transferred to Stryker wheeled vehicles, thus creating a surplus of heavy tracked vehicles to modify. I have a Bradley kit here at home from Academy that I was attempting to make into a medium or light tank platform along the lines of the CV90-120 but felt the high silhouette made it look like a Sherman kinda. So I figure by removing the turret ring that I made for my light tank project and modifying the roof to have a commander's hatch and a place for a remote weapon's station and making some add-on armour I could make a viable HIAV vechicle. But I did have one problem when building the hull the tracks it came with were far to tight to fit where could I get some replacement ones?

Both AFV Club and Friul make later 'Bigfoot' type Bradley tracks, which are interestingly the same as on the CV90. Sounds like a good project, we need a new IFV! Post it on our Modern Canadian group, there a few WOTIF (What-If) projects going on: http://www.network54.com/Forum/169232/

Alright I'll try it out I'll post some pictures of what I do have from my failed light/medium tank project, I used the turret from the Italian Centauro as a base and will continue my "What If" light/medium tank project on a different chassis, I've also considered building it on a LAV-25 chassis as a fire support replacement for the AVGP Cougar. In my mind though it would never replace the Leopard's. lol

Well here's some preliminary pics of what I have gotten so far I'm planning on mounting a dozer blade from Trumpeter's Stryker ESV kit.
