Just stumbled on this guy, Dr. Cranky's workshop, who does awesome airbrush work. He has a bunch of tutorial videos on utube and is just starting a "how to" series. He primarily uses acrylics and does museum quality work. I believe he has been very popular with the model car addicts. I viewed a couple of his videos and starts out with mixing paint then airbrush basics and goes on to masking. I think anyone with questions should start here. Confusion says, one video worth thousand words.
