I came across a pic on wikipedia with a suspected Ranger firing a M249 and wearing a uniform I'm not entirely familiar with. His jacket is a dark drab color and not the digi cam jacket I've seen. Is this jacket still in use even with the multi cam?

Is this the photo you are referring to?
Not sure what kind of jacket it is, but looking at the elastic sleeve cuff it appears to be some kind of soft-shell jacket. Someone should be able to identify it

He is wearing softshell jacket PCU Level 5.Jacket is still in use by Rangers and can be worn with multicam uniforms.
