That's funny. Is that a Fiat you used for the car? Where did you find that?

Remember though that this is a propaganda shot. Running over cars like this is not a recommended practice as you can immobilize your tank.

Or blow it up if there's a bomb in the car. Enough ordnance would flip that tank like a turtle.

Finally that piece of plastic looks like a tank ( in my opinion, the most
beautiful tank in the world ). Both tracks are ready. I`ll start paint them next week. Couple photos:

You are not mistaken, Camaro was here :

On polish forum, someone told me that American soldiers wouldn`t destroy famous american car, so I`ve changed my plan and I`ve replaced Camaro by Ford Mk1:

In the same time I`ve started build an another Abrams:

And now I`m going to place those two tanks on one dio :

Sorry about my english language

Hello everyone!! Once again I`ve changed everything. After I`ve repainted my Abrams, I was planning to create a tank named AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT 77, but when I get the decals from Echelon I`ve noticed that the AMERICAN... comes from different platoon than my first Abrams ALL BOUT DA BONES. I`m trying to be very accurate and I want to avoid of any mistakes, so I decided that I`ll create different tank from 3rd platoon A company named ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT, and now my tank looks like that:

I`m not sure if he realy looks like that, but I found on Armorama couple pictures of ATTITUDE... and I`ve decided to create something similar.

Grzegorz, you have an ambitious project ahead of yourself, and it is coming along nicely. Of course we will never know if crews ran over cars during the initial invasion without a direct story from a crew or reporter, or photos, which I am not aware exist, but lots of crazy stuff happens in war. In fact, the platoon in your Echelon sheet took the time to tear down a Sadam statue for fun while being shot at with small arms fire. If you really want to show off the suspension of the model and you are looking to other inspiration, here is a photo of an attack in southern Iraq. This is United Airlines Flight 175 and the TC of American Airlines Flight 77 took the photo.

There are other examples of real occurrences in southern Iraq where attacks took place over open and broken ground and so the suspension could be showed off using the broken and undulating ground.

Bob

You might want to paint the tow cable on the tank crushing the car.

Ill agree with you, the Abrams is definitely my favorite tank. I can proudly say my dad drove them loading and unloading ships and railcars back in the 80's. Severely hurt his knee when he slammed it into the front angle of the tank, however. oops....
