I just got a M1133 Stryker MEV and was wondering if they have the slat armor as the rest of the them in the stock pile in the middle east or they didn't have them on the M1133 MEV.Because it was only used for medical reason. I was planing on putting this together soon and was wondering if I had to add the slat Armour or not.

Hi William!
I'm not an expert on the Stryker.
Some days ago I found this link showing what I think is a MEV with Slat.
Take a look yourself.

Hope this helps!

Yes, M1133 MEVs used in Iraq have SLAT armor like all other Strykers that have been deployed there. Just because it is an ambulance and you are not supposed tp fire on them, doesn't mean the insurgents care about that. They are protected just like the rest.
This pic is an M1133 MEV with SLAT armor, in what looks like Iraq.
In Afghanistan, not all Strykers have SLAT armor, so you could go without for there.

Sir,
I was under the impression that all Strykers in Afghanistan now have Slat armor. I never worked with or saw a Stryker in Afghanistan, we were in different provinces so I know nothing of them from first hand experiences.
