well its as finished as its going to get
Academy kit OOB. painted with tamiya acrylics. I built it primarily as a test subject for weathering my Magach7 project. I am pretty happy with the result.
comments good or bad are always welcome

Hi
Look nice for out of the box build. I assume you dont wanted to deal with anti slip addition to the surface of the tank.
Well, I suggest to add some more color on it, it looks that you spray all the tank in the basic color, I suggest to paint the tracks, wheels rubber, smoke grenade and etc, in the colors they should be.

would you care to enlighten me as to what the "proper" colours might be?
I welcome all feedback good or not, but saying something is wrong without some insight as to HOW it is wrong doesn't help anyone at all.
however i will add that the entire lower hull and suspension was oversprayed with a layer of dust. the tracks are painted steel and the road wheel rubber is black, under all the dust. I have seen this many times on real tracked vehicles.

maybe this picture can illustrate what i have done better than the others

As long you are happy and like the result that what is most important.
No point to enter to argument.

Dylan, the paint looks fine to me; the only thing I see is it looks like there is a slight droop to the barrel of the .50 cal AS/AM mount, or is it maybe an optical illusion caused by the photo?

Dylan, looks good. I think Dr. Rob is just trying to point out that the outer rim of the road wheels should be black rubber and there. Dr. Rob is a great resource of all things IDF related and actually is a leading authority (and author) on a ton of IDF things. I do not think his intention was to insult or to cause any confrontation, but sometimes the written word does not come across as easily or as clearly as the spoken. I think the consensus is that you have produced a great model and that your work is top notch. Cheers.

Why are you being disrespectful? Dr Robert is the author of many books covering IDF vehicles in detail, and he was giving you advice how to make your model more realistic without any ill intent. You said you wanted feedback, didn't you?

well feedback always welcome, but to say something is wrong and give no indication as to WHAT OR HOW it is wrong is a douche move on his part.

and then he comes back with the position that I am arguing with him for no reason. well I have a good reason, he said "I suggest to paint the tracks, wheels rubber, smoke grenade and etc, in the colors they should be."

well what colours should they be then? if the good DR. is so knowledgeable then enlighten me.

instead he decided to snipe at me and then cower like a little girl when I dared question him.

I was shown the disrespect first,I am just handing it back

Dylan, My god man, calm down. None of that is necessary. If you post a build, expect criticism as well as praise. Nothing wrong with what he said.
