I've heard that ICM's V3000S cargo truck was built in Germany under license from Ford. If this is true, was the truck used by the US Navy or any branches of the US military during WWII?

If so, how difficult would it be to convert it to a US vehicle?

Thanks.

Brian...

I do not know any photo of a U.S. Ford 3 ton, unless this die-cast model:

In American hands, I only know these:
Forb Bomb Load truck:

Ford COE:

and Ford G8T ( this model came after the V3000 and the G917 ... and is one of the ugliest and "no personality" trucks with that I know ...)

font:

But the English and Australian used the Ford 3 ton a lot...

About differences, see the windshield and the tyres....

Regards...

Thanks Marcos. Those are some great -- and very useful -- photos.
