Recently I saw a post regarding modern stretchers with a couple of pictures and description with some dimensions. I think it was related to a specific picture of a M1117 with a litter hung on the right rear on Toadman's picture site. I have tried a search but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe something like this?

"N.A. Rescue Talon II Folding Litter"

There are several versions of this made by different manufacturers.

Thanks for your reply, Mike. The litter I'm looking for does not fold lengthwise, only width-wise, and has the mesh-like fabric. See the photo below. I can always estimate the dimensions from the picture, but if I have the real data it would be a big help. Hope it's OK to use the image.

Talon's as posted in the first link are the standard that I saw in Afghanistan last year. All our trucks had at least one if not more. Sometimes they would be mounted to the side of the vehicle already expanded, often times they were not. With proper training it doesn't take long to expand a Talon and that can be done by someone while Doc is working on triaging the wounded and prepping them to move most of the time. Often times we also had back boards mounted to the sides of the trucks, Cougars you could wedge them in between the rear fender and stowage box, MaxxPro's often had a mount designed for it but if not were zip tied to the side stowage bars, and ASV's had them zip tied to the rear. I know I have a picture of an ASV with one attached somewhere..

Thanks, tacticalsquirrel, that would indeed be very nice and different. Looking forward to it.
