I picked up this resin/PE kit for some unknown reason. Looks like an interesting little towed gun. Does anyone know where some reference info on this kit is? The KMC directions are detailed, but it would be nice to see photos of an actual gun while assembling the resin bits.
BTW it is kit #35-1001

If thats the same gun as the Italeri (ex ESCI) kit, l.IG 18, then go to this site.

(although when I last checked, they seemed to be having problems with the images)

Thanks Geoff, any idea what would be used to pull this thing on the battlefield?

Depending on what type of wheels your kit has (spoked wooden or metal hubs), it could be anything from men or horses to the heavy cars ie. Horch or light halftracks such as the Demag Sd.Kfz 10

Thanks again. Mine has solid metal hubs. The directions are rather tricky and show some components in place. Some of the miniscule resin parts that are on stubs, I haven't been able to locate on the instruction sheet. There are also two barrel/breach assemblies, but I can't figure out if there are any differences. It does give the option of positioning the breach block open or closed, but this is a different part than the barrel/breach assembly.
