...UGLY! (and made with a strange plastic which is hard to work)

The best way could be a t55 Tamiya conversion

Or maybe a kit bashing beetween the japanese and the chinese kits

I don't know, probably there are some resin conversion...

Anyway, trumpeter sells two kits

I don't know which is the best. Probably the first

cheers

Ehi Sven

Look there:

http://www.amcars.cz/?page=iTank/UNT-55C

Is perhaps our tank? To be honest I don't think so. I found it by chance in a czeck site

Anyway it looks very interesting indeed

I think that the gun was removed after the service use

Cheers

Fantastic Sven. thanks a lot!
That's the reason why there's a camel shape on the right of the turret

Here you are a UNMEE photogallery

http://galerie.valka.cz/showgallery.php/cat/997

The gun wasn't mounted on those tank actually

Most likely they were involved in mine reclamation

that looks very cool, now we have a good amount of pics but we can use more info to make a historical accurate model
the only bad thing is that the pics we have are from different tanks,we need more pics of one tank to model.
Cheers,Sven

Sharing references is very important in my opinion

Sven and Mauro,
thanks a lot for your investigational work on these two interesting subjects.

I found out that the Type 59 tanks from PAKBAT were part of the UNTAES Mission (United Nations Transitional Administration for Eastern Slavonia).

In this article from fas.org you find more about this mission and also the picture which caused this thread ;-)
