What would be the easiest way to turn a Tamiya Russian T-55 into a credible Chinese-built Type 69-II, or at least into an Iraqi T-55 ? Would the addition of Trumpeter parts to this masterpiece be considered as a crime of lese-majesty ? (but also as a way to save some bucks )

TIA

Well, after Tony's back from vacation, you could order the Type 69 conversion from AEF Designs to start with.

KM-12 Iraqi T-69

You'll have to be patient, as Tony casts the orders after he gets them, but it'd be a decent kit. You may want to add further details, of course.

Cheers

:-) :-) :-)

Now that's one for us to launch something at.

Realy, Frenchy, take a look at Chris Wauchop's redition at Hyperscale . Also, go over to our web site and see Charlie Prichett's great pics http://heavymetal.ww2mm.com/CPiraqit55/cpirt55.htm

Thanks for your replies. Blaster76's idea is interesting but this would compel me to scratchbuild the interior (or at least the remains of the interior ). A wreck is not that easy to build I'd better take the great models mentioned by Dave as my future source of inspiration.
