Maus, were any of the prototypes used in combat?

There was rumour that one saw action when a testing site was overun, but I really cannot remember any of the details of what was supposed to have happened.

Only one was completed with a turret, the second prototype. It does not appear anybody tried to take it into battle. It was blown up at the Kummersdorf test center to prevent its capture, but the Russians just salvaged the turret and mated it with the undamaged hull from prototype number one, and sent it to Kubinka for testing, which is where it resides today in the proving ground's collection.
