I was wondering if anybody has a review for the italeri Puma heavy armored car I want to use it for a late war diorama with some masterbox and MIG Production figures and some Tamyia German gear

If anybody has a review for the puma it would be great to have

thanks

I built this kit a few years ago and I have some info I downloaded at the time from ML and other sites. It's no longer online but if you PM me your email I'll send it to you

Funny enough I've been part-way through writing up a build-review for almost a year now that is stuttering its way along the detail painting stage. (My Photobucket album of the build) The kit is ok, but has weaknesses by today's standards (some crude detail, terrible gas-cans, simplified suspension) that can be dressed up a bit. The gun barrel is slightly underscale, but at least one metal replacement out there is actually overscale! The DML kit is the better choice if available.

I posted a bit in the Axis of Armor campaign (Pages 2 & 3 here) and showed how to "turn" the wheels on p3...

I know Aber does a really nice, comprehensive PE set for this kit. One of those PE sets that's worth more than the kit itself.

Hi Frank. Have you already bought the Italeri kit? If not, Id recommend buying the Dragon model instead. OOB this would be much better than the Italeri plus aftermarket!

Here are the two compared. The two armoured cars in the foreground are the Dragon ones, those in the rear are the Italaeri offerings. I built them all, so they are equally bad, so provide a good comparison!
