I'm not entirely sure where I might find this information, so I figured I could start by posting here. Googling hasn't turned up anything quickly that can quickly explain this either.

There are 4 NSNs for the M270 MLRS:

1055-01-192-0357
1055-01-192-0358
1055-01-251-9756
1055-01-329-6826

FLIS confirms that all 4 are for "Launcher, Rocket, Armored Vehicle Mounted," and not for some portion of the system whole.

A google search of the NSNs has turned up that the last 3 were known as the 201 configuration, 202 configuration, and 203 configuration respectively. I assume that 1055-01-192-0357 was the 200 configuration. I have absolutely no idea what this means though and would greatly appreciate any help.

I don't know much about FA stuff, but I'd be willing to bet its all software and some hardware upgrades that came out as technology advanced and weapons became more sophisticated. Outside differences? None beyond extremely trivial details.
