Hello!
This is my first post at here.
These two figure have been finished few years ago. The scale are 1/35
and Tamiya products. These rival the other resin kits in quality.

Your comment on my work is very much appreciated.

excellent work !
The level of details seems fine. What's your impression on those figures ? They seems far way better than the usual 1/35 figures Tamyia release.
Best,

These 2 were previously released as 1/16, and later downscaled to 1/35. They can be bought in special 8000 series double sets.
Tamiya have a few sets and a few single figures released with kits that are quite nice, but the majority are scrap. You really need to see them in the flesh to make proper judgement.

That is some nice work Joe. The shading and detail is excellent and the weathering around the bottom of the figures ties them well to the bases. Some fine work.

Like Frank I'd say some Tamiya figures are not bad at all and can stand up well against their resin/aftermarket counterparts but there are some that are only useful for the spares box!

Very good indeed. In fact when I first looked at them quickly I assumed they WERE the 1/16th figures! Generally speaking, with Tamiya figures, the lower the "35" number on the box, the worse they are. The really old ones are just shapeless blobs. Even the latest ones are not up to DML Gen 2 standard, but they can look quite acceptable with careful painting.

Gotta agree about the early stuff, every time I see it I wonder why they still produce 35002 German Infantry.........who the hell buys it? "Shapeless Blobs" is a compliment for that set.
