Swen,

Excellent diorama. I can't stop looking at it. A lot of imagination and engineering went into this one. I'd like to see more of how you did the scratch building also.

How was the brickwork done? It looks great and weathering is A1 all around.

Thanks for posting this one.

I really like this diorama. However, I'm not a big fan of your frame. I think it would look better if it sat flush with the groundwork and cut it away around the turntable. It hides some of that beautiful work you've done. Personally, I'd paint it black too. I'm wondering if anyone else has mentioned this?

Yo Swenri,

What a wonderfull story and setting. Full of detail and a good finishing.

Sure give us some build pics...I want to now how you made the walls

The camosetting on the train has a nice contrast with the surroundings.

Great Job!

Hi
Today I want to begin to show you pictures of the birth of the diorama. Let me start with the engine shed. The stone was cut from 1mm cork and glued Styrodoor that I have previously cut accordingly. (I hope you can understand everything because I have to use Google translate)
That was a lot of work ....
Then I have everything covered with a filler (a bit diluted with water). After the drying-all was sprayed in a dark gray. then the individual stones were painted in different shades of red and dirty with pigments. The plaster was prepared with gypsum plaster. Then painted. soon it goes on
Greetings Swen-
